CycleSync ("the app") keeps sound systems on a group bike ride playing in sync using a shared GPS clock. By using the app you agree to these terms.
CycleSync is a player. It does not provide any music. Riders add their own audio files to a room, and every phone in that room downloads them so the group can play the same track at the same moment.
You are responsible for the audio you upload. Only add audio you have the right to share with the people in your room. Do not upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit, and do not use the voice announcement feature to harass anyone.
You keep whatever rights you already had in what you upload. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: storing your file, converting it to a common format, and sending it to the other phones in your room. We do not browse, catalogue, index, sell, or publish uploaded audio, and files are deleted when the room expires.
If someone adds a track you believe should not be there, press and hold it in the queue and choose Report this track. Reports come to us with the room code and the track. We review reports and may remove content or a room. If you believe material infringes your copyright, email the address below with enough detail to identify it and we will act on it.
Rooms are private and reachable only with a room code, and they are deleted automatically when they expire. We do not monitor rooms proactively.
You are riding a bicycle. Set the app up before you start moving, keep your attention on the road, and follow the traffic laws where you ride. Playing audio in public is your responsibility.
CycleSync is provided as is, without warranty. It depends on GPS reception and a network connection, and it may be unavailable or imperfect. We may change or discontinue it.
